MARYLAND: Congressman Ben Cardin (D) - 51%, Lieutenant Governor Michael Steele (R) - 40%. (Baltimore Sun/Potomac Inc.).
MINNESOTA: Hennepin County Attorney Amy Klobuchar (D) - 52%, Congressman Mark Kennedy (R) - 37%, former public access TV organization executive directorRobert Fitzgerald (Independence) - 1%, nurse Michael Cavlan (Green) - 1%. (St. Paul Pioneer Press/Mason-Dixon).

FREE SPEECH ZONE.
Congressman Mike Castle (R-DE) suffered what is reported to have been two minor strokes on Saturday. “He is expected to make a full recovery with little to no lingering side effects,” said Castle’s doctor … In Ohio’s CD-18, State Senator Joy Padgett’s (R) campaign released its own poll on Monday showing she is “only” trailing attorney Zach Space (D) by 2-points (versus the double digit margin Space’s poll shows for his lead over Padgett). Space is bashing Padgett in TV spots as the “Taft-Ney” candidate for the open seat.
